Israel leader Benjamin Netanyahu Blasts Iran, Holocaust Deniers As He Holds Aloft Auschwitz Documents
Here’s proof, Mahmoud! Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shows Nazi papers at UN detailing plans for Holocaust.
BY Richard Sisk DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU

At the same podium where Iran's Holocaust-denier stood the day before, Israel's prime minister held up the minutes of the Nazi meeting where the "final solution to the Jewish question" was agreed upon.
Then Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spread out the construction plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camps signed by Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler.
Netanyahu turned to his audience at the United Nations General Assembly and asked: "Is this a lie? This June, US President Obama visited the Buchenwald concentration camp. Did President Obama pay tribute to a lie?
"And what of the Auschwitz survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis? Are those tattoos a lie?"
Netanyahu provided a dramatic rebuttal to the "systematic assault on the truth" launched by Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has called the Holocaust a myth.
The Israeli prime minister said the Iranian fanatic threatened to scuttle the UN's mission to promote peace and security.
Netanyahu commended delegations from the U.S. and other nations that walked out on Ahmadinejad's disjointed address Wednesday night calling Israel and the U.S. "warmongers."
"To those who gave this Holocaust-denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame? Have you no decency?
"What a disgrace! What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations! Perhaps, some of you think that this man and his odious regime threaten only the Jews.
"History has shown us time and again, that what starts with attacks on the Jews eventually ends up engulfing many others."
Israel, Saudi Arabia, US, UK Join Forces As Iran Fires Nuclear Capable Missiles
Israeli submarines patrol the seven seas with the most advanced weapons and INTEL systems. These subs guarantee a last strike option by Israel.
By Joel Leyden Israel News Agency Jerusalem, Israel ---- September 28, 2009 ..... As Iran test fires missiles on the Jewish Holy Day of Yom Kippur - nuclear missiles capable of hitting Israel, Saudi Arabia, Europe and US bases - Saudi Arabia has granted the use of their air space to Israel to take out Iran nuclear facilities.
According to the Daily Express, the director of England MI6 discussed a mutual defense against Iran in London with Israel Mossad Director Meir Dagan and security officials from Saudi Arabia. The meeting between the UK, Israel and the Saudis took place after British INTEL discovered the plant, in the side of a mountain near the ancient Iran city of Qom.
Diplomatic sources say that the Iran nuclear site could hold 3,000 centrifuges, capable of making enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear bomb each year.
The Iran second nuclear weapons producing site is seen as a real-time threat by Israel and Saudi Arabia.
John Bolton, America’s former UN ambassador, recently told a meeting of intelligence analysts that “Riyadh certainly approves” of Israel using of Saudi Arabia airspace for either air or missile ground to ground attacks against Iran.
As much of Israel was joining in prayer for their most sacred Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur, the Iran Revolutionary Guard successfully launched the Shahab-3 missile, which is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and has a range of up to 1,200 miles. The Iran Shahab-3 missile would put Israel, most Arab states and parts of Europe, including much of Turkey, within its strike range.
Iran Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi, afraid of an Israel military response today said: "If this happens, an attack by Israel, which of course we do not foresee, its ultimate result would be that it expedites the Zionist regime's last breath," said on state television.
Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said the missile tests were not a response to international pressure on the country's nuclear program. They were, he said, part of Sacred Defense Week's annual military exercises to commemorate Iran's war with Iraq in the 1980s. Israel is prepared to use a preemptive military strike to stop Iran from developing an atomic weapon.
In 1981, Israel bombed a French-built nuclear plant near Iraq's capital, Baghdad, knowing that it was designed to make nuclear weapons to destroy Israel. It was the world's first air strike against a nuclear plant. An undisclosed number of Israel Defense Forces F-15 interceptors and F-16 fighter bombers destroyed the Osirak reactor 18 miles south of Baghdad, on the orders of Israel Prime Minister Menachem Begin.
Iran, which says its nuclear work is for peaceful power generation, has often shrugged off the possibility of any such strikes.
Vahidi, a former Revolutionary Guards commander, said that in the event of an Israeli attack its "lifespan, which is today coming to an end, would be speeded up." He added that the "Zionist regime", the term Iran uses for Israel, was on a "slope of destruction". Iran's hardline president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has also repeatedly predicted Israel's downfall while denying that the Holocaust ever took place.
"Israel knew days before about today's launch of the Iran Shahab-3 missile," said an Israel security analyst. "They perceive Israel as weak and are probing the Israel Defense Forces and her allies reactions. This is nothing more and nothing less than psychological war fare operations by Iran. With the US, Canada, Western Europe, Russia and many Arab states now joining forces against Iran, Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is doing all he can to show the citizens of Iran that he is still in power."
"The Iran missile testing today was not for Israel, the US or Saudi Arabia consumption but produced for Iran TV where it was advertised, and shown over and over again to Iran citizens. Discontented and outraged citizens of Iran who had a recent election stolen from them. An election where they would have voted in democracy. All the same, Israel has remained on high alert before, during and after Yom Kippur through our powerful and experienced navy, air force and ground forces."
Israel IDF Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi responded by saying that “the possibility of Iran becoming a nuclear power is a threat not only to the State of Israel, but for the Middle East and the entire free world.”
“We all understand that the best way of coping with Iran is through international sanctions. I hope that Iran will understand this. I think that if not, Israel has the right to defend itself, and all options are open. The IDF's working premise is that we have to be prepared for that possibility, and that is exactly what we are doing.”

Israel PM Netanyahu’s Address to UN 64th General Assembly - Text, Video
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN asks the world body "have you no shame" for hosting the Iran President who denies the Holocaust? Netanyahu reminds the world that England defended herself against Nazi rocket attacks by leveling cities in Europe while Israel went house to house in Gaza placing her own troops at risk to avoid civilian casualties. And it was Israel which was named as the aggressor by the UN for defending herself against Hamas terror rockets on her cities and towns. Why did the UN fail to mention, why did the United Nations not condemn the terror group Hamas for a double war crime - attacking without provocation, Israel civilians in Sderot, Ashdod and Ashkelon while hiding behind Palestinian women and children?
By Israel News Agency Staff
United Nations, New York ----- September 24, 2009 ... The following speech by the Israel Prime Minister to the delegates of the UN was provided to the Israel News Agency by the Israel Prime Minister's Office and the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen, nearly 62 years ago, the United Nations recognized the right of the Jews, an ancient people 3,500 years-old, to a state of their own in their ancestral homeland.
I stand here today as the Prime Minister of Israel, the Jewish state, and I speak to you on behalf of my country and my people.
The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust. It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events.
Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth. Yesterday the President of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants. Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.
Last month, I went to a villa in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee. There, on January 20, 1942, after a hearty meal, senior Nazi officials met and decided how to exterminate the Jewish people. The detailed minutes of that meeting have been preserved by successive German governments. Here is a copy of those minutes, in which the Nazis issued precise instructions on how to carry out the extermination of the Jews. Is this a lie?
A day before I was in Wannsee, I was given in Berlin the original construction plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Those plans are signed by Hitler’s deputy, Heinrich Himmler himself. Here is a copy of the plans for Auschwitz-Birkenau, where one million Jews were murdered. Is this too a lie?
This June, US President Obama visited the Buchenwald concentration camp. Did President Obama pay tribute to a lie?
And what of the Auschwitz survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis? Are those tattoos a lie? One-third of all Jews perished in the conflagration. Nearly every Jewish family was affected, including my own. My wife’s grandparents, her father’s two sisters and three brothers, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins were all murdered by the Nazis. Is that also a lie?
Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium. To those who refused to come here and to those who left this room in protest, I commend you. You stood up for moral clarity and you brought honor to your countries.
But to those who gave this Holocaust-denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame? Have you no decency?
A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies that the murder of six million Jews took place and pledges to wipe out the Jewish state.
What a disgrace! What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations! Perhaps some of you think that this man and his odious regime threaten only the Jews. You’re wrong.
History has shown us time and again that what starts with attacks on the Jews eventually ends up engulfing many others.
This Iran regime is fueled by an extreme fundamentalism that burst onto the world scene three decades ago after lying dormant for centuries. In the past thirty years, this fanaticism has swept the globe with a murderous violence and cold-blooded impartiality in its choice of victims. It has callously slaughtered Moslems and Christians, Jews and Hindus, and many others. Though it is comprised of different offshoots, the adherents of this unforgiving creed seek to return humanity to medieval times.
Wherever they can, they impose a backward regimented society where women, minorities, gays or anyone not deemed to be a true believer is brutally subjugated. The struggle against this fanaticism does not pit faith against faith nor civilization against civilization.
It pits civilization against barbarism, the 21st century against the 9th century, those who sanctify life against those who glorify death.
The primitivism of the 9th century ought to be no match for the progress of the 21st century. The allure of freedom, the power of technology, the reach of communications should surely win the day. Ultimately, the past cannot triumph over the future. And the future offers all nations magnificent bounties of hope. The pace of progress is growing exponentially.
It took us centuries to get from the printing press to the telephone, decades to get from the telephone to the personal computer, and only a few years to get from the personal computer to the internet.
What seemed impossible a few years ago is already outdated, and we can scarcely fathom the changes that are yet to come. We will crack the genetic code. We will cure the incurable. We will lengthen our lives. We will find a cheap alternative to fossil fuels and clean up the planet.
I am proud that my country Israel is at the forefront of these advances – by leading innovations in science and technology, medicine and biology, agriculture and water, energy and the environment. These innovations the world over offer humanity a sunlit future of unimagined promise.
But if the most primitive fanaticism can acquire the most deadly weapons, the march of history could be reversed for a time. And like the belated victory over the Nazis, the forces of progress and freedom will prevail only after an horrific toll of blood and fortune has been exacted from mankind. That is why the greatest threat facing the world today is the marriage between religious fanaticism and the weapons of mass destruction.
The most urgent challenge facing this body is to prevent the tyrants of Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Are the member states of the United Nations up to that challenge? Will the international community confront a despotism that terrorizes its own people as they bravely stand up for freedom?
Will it take action against the dictators who stole an election in broad daylight and gunned down Iranian protesters who died in the streets choking in their own blood? Will the international community thwart the world’s most pernicious sponsors and practitioners of terrorism?
Above all, will the international community stop the terrorist regime of Iran from developing atomic weapons, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world?
The people of Iran are courageously standing up to this regime. People of goodwill around the world stand with them, as do the thousands who have been protesting outside this hall. Will the United Nations stand by their side?
Ladies and Gentlemen, the jury is still out on the United Nations, and recent signs are not encouraging. Rather than condemning the terrorists and their Iranian patrons, some here have condemned their victims. That is exactly what a recent UN report on Gaza did, falsely equating the terrorists with those they targeted.
For eight long years, Hamas fired from Gaza thousands of missiles, mortars and rockets on nearby Israeli cities. Year after year, as these missiles were deliberately hurled at our civilians, not a single UN resolution was passed condemning those criminal attacks. We heard nothing – absolutely nothing – from the UN Human Rights Council, a misnamed institution if there ever was one.
In 2005, hoping to advance peace, Israel unilaterally withdrew from every inch of Gaza. It dismantled 21 settlements and uprooted over 8,000 Israelis. We didn’t get peace. Instead we got an Iranian backed terror base fifty miles from Tel Aviv. Life in Israeli towns and cities next to Gaza became a nightmare. You see, the Hamas rocket attacks not only continued, they increased tenfold. Again, the UN was silent.
Finally, after eight years of this unremitting assault, Israel was finally forced to respond. But how should we have responded?
Well, there is only one example in history of thousands of rockets being fired on a country’s civilian population. It happened when the Nazis rocketed British cities during World War II. During that war, the allies leveled German cities, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties. Israel chose to respond differently. Faced with an enemy committing a double war crime of firing on civilians while hiding behind civilians – Israel sought to conduct surgical strikes against the rocket launchers.
That was no easy task because the terrorists were firing missiles from homes and schools, using mosques as weapons depots and ferreting explosives in ambulances. Israel, by contrast, tried to minimize casualties by urging Palestinian civilians to vacate the targeted areas.
We dropped countless flyers over their homes, sent thousands of text messages and called thousands of cell phones asking people to leave. Never has a country gone to such extraordinary lengths to remove the enemy’s civilian population from harm’s way.
Yet faced with such a clear case of aggressor and victim, who did the UN Human Rights Council decide to condemn? Israel. A democracy legitimately defending itself against terror is morally hanged, drawn and quartered, and given an unfair trial to boot.
By these twisted standards, the UN Human Rights Council would have dragged Roosevelt and Churchill to the dock as war criminals. What a perversion of truth. What a perversion of justice.
Delegates of the United Nations,
Will you accept this farce?
Because if you do, the United Nations would revert to its darkest days, when the worst violators of human rights sat in judgment against the law-abiding democracies, when Zionism was equated with racism and when an automatic majority could declare that the earth is flat.
If this body does not reject this report, it would send a message to terrorists everywhere: Terror pays; if you launch your attacks from densely populated areas, you will win immunity. And in condemning Israel, this body would also deal a mortal blow to peace. Here’s why.
When Israel left Gaza, many hoped that the missile attacks would stop. Others believed that at the very least, Israel would have international legitimacy to exercise its right of self-defense. What legitimacy? What self-defense?
The same UN that cheered Israel as it left Gaza and promised to back our right of self-defense now accuses us –my people, my country – of war crimes? And for what? For acting responsibly in self-defense. What a travesty!
Israel justly defended itself against terror. This biased and unjust report is a clear-cut test for all governments. Will you stand with Israel or will you stand with the terrorists?
We must know the answer to that question now. Now and not later. Because if Israel is again asked to take more risks for peace, we must know today that you will stand with us tomorrow. Only if we have the confidence that we can defend ourselves can we take further risks for peace.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
All of Israel wants peace.
Any time an Arab leader genuinely wanted peace with us, we made peace. We made peace with Egypt led by Anwar Sadat. We made peace with Jordan led by King Hussein. And if the Palestinians truly want peace, I and my government, and the people of Israel, will make peace. But we want a genuine peace, a defensible peace, a permanent peace. In 1947, this body voted to establish two states for two peoples – a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Jews accepted that resolution. The Arabs rejected it.
We ask the Palestinians to finally do what they have refused to do for 62 years: Say yes to a Jewish state. Just as we are asked to recognize a nation-state for the Palestinian people, the Palestinians must be asked to recognize the nation state of the Jewish people. The Jewish people are not foreign conquerors in the Land of Israel. This is the land of our forefathers.
Inscribed on the walls outside this building is the great Biblical vision of peace: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. They shall learn war no more.” These words were spoken by the Jewish prophet Isaiah 2,800 years ago as he walked in my country, in my city, in the hills of Judea and in the streets of Jerusalem.
We are not strangers to this land. It is our homeland. As deeply connected as we are to this land, we recognize that the Palestinians also live there and want a home of their own. We want to live side by side with them, two free peoples living in peace, prosperity and dignity.
But we must have security. The Palestinians should have all the powers to govern themselves except those handful of powers that could endanger Israel.
That is why a Palestinian state must be effectively demilitarized. We don’t want another Gaza, another Iranian backed terror base abutting Jerusalem and perched on the hills a few kilometers from Tel Aviv.
We want peace.
I believe such a peace can be achieved. But only if we roll back the forces of terror, led by Iran, that seek to destroy peace, eliminate Israel and overthrow the world order. The question facing the international community is whether it is prepared to confront those forces or accommodate them.
Over seventy years ago, Winston Churchill lamented what he called the “confirmed unteachability of mankind,” the unfortunate habit of civilized societies to sleep until danger nearly overtakes them.
Churchill bemoaned what he called the “want of foresight, the unwillingness to act when action will be simple and effective, the lack of clear thinking, the confusion of counsel until emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong.”
I speak here today in the hope that Churchill’s assessment of the “unteachibility of mankind” is for once proven wrong.
I speak here today in the hope that we can learn from history — that we can prevent danger in time.
In the spirit of the timeless words spoken to Joshua over 3,000 years ago, let us be strong and of good courage. Let us confront this peril, secure our future and, God willing, forge an enduring peace for generations to come.
Richard Maize Creates Websites To Refute UN Israel Gaza Goldstone Report
As Hamas attacks Israel from Gaza with terror suicide bombers and over 8,000 rockets while hiding behind children, the UN Goldstone Report equates Israel with Hamas.
By Joel Leyden Israel News Agency
Tel Aviv, Israel ---- September 18, 2009 ..... The Richard Maize Foundation has taken to the defense of Israel and human rights by creating numerous information Websites to address the biased UN Goldstone Report on the Israel Gaza war.
"When the UN Goldstone Report was released anyone could see that it was highly biased, one sided, a pure example of discrimination against Israel," said Richard Maize.
"There was not one word in that UN report that alluded to the fact that Israel was forced to defend herself against 8,000 missile attacks from Gaza. Only the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and HonestReporting.com had limited and coordinated efforts using the Web. So we created a handful of extremely powerful Web 2.0 PR news sites which were SEO optimized for the search engines that addressed both the UN Goldstone Report and Human Rights in Israel."
Two of the pro Israel Websites are Israel Human Rights and the UN Goldstone Report, both of which have been highlighted on Facebook, MySpace, DIGG, Twitter, Google and Yahoo groups, Blogger and dozens of other new media social networking Websites.
The Richard Maize sponsored sites made sure to address several facts including that Israel did not deliberately target the civilian population of Gaza and, in fact, made every effort to prevent civilian casualties that no other army in the world would have done. That contrary to the assertions of the UN Goldstone Report, Hamas did use Palestinian civilians as human shields and the world public can view Hamas admitting as such on YouTube.
The Goldstone Report is not objective and is, in fact tainted by bias and politicization, both from the UN Human Rights Council and members of the mission itself. That the UN Gaza report relied upon the contributions of anti-Israel non-governmental organizations and unreliable Palestinian "eyewitnesses."
The Richard Maize Foundation sites enhanced the PR and public affairs effort made by Israel to illustrate that Israel respects human rights and has a sophisticated legal and judicial system. Hamas does not. Yet the UN Goldstone Israel Gaza Report has created an unjust equivalence of a democratic state with a terror organization.
The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports and contributes volunteer and financial resources to causes locally in the community and worldwide by supporting programs focusing on art, culture, family services, health care and human rights.
Richard Maize has supported organizations and causes including the American Cancer Society, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Hurricane Katrina, Los Angeles Police Foundation, the 18th Israel Maccabiah Games and Cedars Sinai Board of Governors.
Israel President Shimon Peres responded to the UN Goldstone Israel Gaza Report saying that it "makes a mockery of history" and that "it does not distinguish between the aggressor and the defender."
"War is a crime and the attacker is the criminal. The defender has no choice. The Hamas terror organization is the one who started the war and also carried out other awful crimes. Hamas has used terrorism for years against Israel children," Peres stated.
Peres did not hold back his anger when he received a delegation of the British Labor Friends of Israel in Jerusalem yesterday. "We are outraged by the criticism of British universities," said Peres. "What do they want us to do, allow our children to be murdered? Who are the criminals of war - the aggressors or the defenders?"
Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu joined Peres in condemning the racist 574-page UN investigation of conduct during the Israel Hamas war in Gaza last January.
"The Goldstone Report is a field court-marital, and its findings were prewritten," said Netanyahu."This is a prize for terror. The report makes it difficult for democracies to fight terror."
The UN Goldstone Report stated: "In the fighting in Gaza, all sides flouted that fundamental principle... that in armed conflict civilians should to the greatest extent possible be protected from harm."
By making this statement, Judge Richard Goldstone equated a terror group - Hamas with the only democracy in the Middle-East. And in doing so failed to mention that Hamas had attacked Israel cities and towns with Qassam rockets fired from civilian homes, schools and UN facilities. That during the actual engagement between the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas, Hamas fired automatic weapons hiding behind Palestinian children. At several points Hamas literally dragged these children with them as they moved from point to point.
Goldstone completly ignored the facts that murdering Israel civilians is one of Hamas' central goals. That it was Hamas that organized suicide attacks and sent its terrorists to blow themselves up on Israel buses in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, in hotel lobbies in Netanya and at restaurants in Jerusalem. That Hamas has clearly stated that it remains committed in word and deed to the total destruction of Israel.
"The Goldstone Commission is a commission established with the aim of finding Israel guilty of crimes ahead of time, the commission was dispatched by countries in which the terms 'human rights' and 'combat ethics' are unknown," said Israel Foreign Minister Lieberman.
Lieberman added: "the IDF was forced to deal with the lowest form of terrorists that set themselves the goal of murdering women and children by hiding behind women and children. The state of Israel will continue to protect its citizens from the attacks of the terrorists and the terror organizations, and will continue to protect its soldiers from hypocritical and distorted attacks."
Former UN Human Rights director Mary Robinson, as well as former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, were among the many international personalities that refused UN offers to head the Gaza mission. "Unfortunately, the Human Rights Council passed a resolution seeking a fact-finding mission to only look at what Israel had done, and I don’t think that’s a human rights approach," said Robinson. "The UN Goldstone Report was guided not by human rights but by politics".
The evidence in the UN Report, as Goldstone notes, was based almost entirely on unverifiable Palestinian claims and publications from politicized pro Palestinian NGOs. The UN Goldstone report cites B'Tselem and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights more than 70 times each and Al-Haq allegations get more than 30 mentions.
Israel has opened investigations into over 100 allegations regarding the conduct of the Israel Defense Forces during the Gaza Cast Lead Operation. Hamas has not conducted one investigation of its activities during the war.
"We have very serious concerns about many recommendations in the report," said US Ambassador Susan Rice who serves as the permanent US representative to the UN. "We will expect and believe that the appropriate venue for this report to be considered is the Human Rights Council," Rice said yesterday, in the first official American response to Goldstone's report. "We have long expressed our very serious concern with the mandate that was given by the Human Rights Council prior to our joining the council, which we viewed as unbalanced, one-sided and basically unacceptable."
British trade labor unions yesterday agreed to support a boycott of Israel products in response to the offensive in Gaza last winter. The boycott, proposed by the Fire Brigades Union, calls for a ban on importing goods produced in some Israel settlements, an end of arms trading with Israel and disinvestment from some companies.
In reaction to the approval of an anti - Israel boycott by the UK trades union, MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) called for a boycott of British goods by Israel consumers. "I call on the public to build a Jewish wall, to counter a boycott with a boycott, and not to purchase goods from Britain," said Ben-Ari.
Noam Shalit joined hundreds of Israel diplomats and journalists questioning the findings of the UN Goldstone Commission. The UN Goldstone Report refers to Gilad Shalit as a “prisoner of war” and not as a “captive” or “hostage”. Noam Shalit pointed out that even if his son Gilad is a prisoner of war, one can only question why he is not granted the minimum rights given to POWs, visits from humanitarian agencies and other basic human rights including receiving visits from medical professionals and family members.
"As long as Judge Richard Goldstone doesn't probe human rights abuses in Darfur, Iran, Russia, Syria, Lebanon, China, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka or Turkey, just as he probed Israel, he is not a moral figure. A law is a law only when it applies to everyone and does not discriminate, as Goldstone did, says Richard Maize.
"We trust that the objective and well documented information Websites that we have created in response to the UN Goldstone Report will serve both political leaders and members of the media who are reporting on a fact finding mission which sounds more like something out of Disneyland than a respected legal or ethical organization."
The Association for Human Rights in Israel was created to provide awareness directly pertaining to Israel law and the implementation of Israel law with regard to Israel including territories currently under Israeli jurisdiction and Israel's ethical, moral and humanitarian commitment to assisting all peoples in all nations throughout the world.
New York, London to Israel Integrating SEO, PR Creates Potent Marketing
By Joel Leyden Israel News Agency
Tel Aviv, Israel ---- September 9, 2009 ..... Once upon a time, when you wanted your business products and or services to be known one would either hire an advertising or PR agency.
Having full color print display ads appearing in general and trade magazines and editorial stories placed about your services was the only route. The ad agency would send out an insertion order and the public relations agency in New York, London or Israel would fax news releases. Yes, there was also direct mail marketing, perhaps what was once the most powerful of all marketing tools.
But that all has changed. Or has it?
As an international PR, public affairs and reputation crisis communications management professional who started out and remains a journalist today, I have co-created some of the largest commercial, non-profit and governmental events in New York and Israel. All done through news releases, a telephone and a fax machine. But today if one truly wishes to reach a selected audience in the most powerful, targeted manner, they must combine years of experience in journalism, years of experience in PR and years of experience in SEO and Web 2.0 viral marketing social networking.
And they need to keep in mind that Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have replaced the fax machine.
Recently, when I was interviewed by TIME Magazine, Fox News, CNN and other global media on SEO and PR activities I have been involved in, they did not email me through my regular email for the interview. Instead their new media requests all came through Facebook.
So what is happening here?
Professional Pr people are only now starting to adapt to the Internet. While SEO professionals optimize Websites. These are two very separate digital communications professionals with a completely different skill set.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or "organic" or "algorithmic" search results. The earlier (or higher) a site appears in the Google or Yahoo search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.
Public relations (PR) is the practice of managing the flow of information between an organization and the media. Categories of different professional Pr services include crisis communications, reputation management, consumer, business to business, fashion, defense, security, hi-tech, food and beverage, digital, entertainment, transportation, financial and investor Pr.
If you are lucky enough to break through the noise and find a savvy, experienced PR professional in New York, London or Israel who has the programming skills of an SEO - search engine optimization - then you have truly hit pay dirt.
For the Pr professional knows what journalists are seeking. They know how to write copy and place it. The SEO side of that professional takes either the Web, blog or news story content and works on several elements to make it fly. To reach millions on the Web within hours!
According to comScore, Americans conducted 6.6 billion expanded searches on Google in April 2008. As of March 2009, Google averaged 293.8 million searches per day. Knowing how Google and Yahoo search engines work and optimizing both Web content and news content for Google, Yahoo and Google News is critical to one's success.
Yes, you can also go for Google Adwords, which will reinforce and enhance your organic search results on Google and Yahoo, but one needs to look beyond the search engines.
If you are not on Facebook, you do not exist. Many still feel that Facebook is a playground for those under 30 and they are so very wrong. If a journalist is trying to make contact with you, they will use either Facebook or LinkedIn to find you. Journalists are not solely dedicating their stories to those under 30!
So the PR professional must know how to optimize content and optimize HTML pages. He or she also need to be a master of placing that content on Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Google Groups and tons of other new media social networking sites to create what is know as link density. That is having several links pointing back to your Web site.
Search engine optimization and public relations experts generate black and white measurable results for B2B and B2C sites with social media marketing campaigns and one-way link building services. And blending blog outreach with media relations services, Pr experts from SEO Pr are improving communications, generating publicity, building awareness, getting inbound links and increasing Internet traffic.
So how does one go about shopping for an honest and successful company in New York, London or Israel which specializes in international marketing, Pr and SEO on the Internet?
You must ask several questions. Problem is, most companies seeking international SEO Pr Internet marketing support do not know the questions to ask.
Leyden Communications provides below a list of questions for every company from Tel Aviv, London, Washington and New York, to Paris, Japan, India and China to ask the SEO or international Internet Pr, SEO marketing company before they sign a contract.
First, if your target audience is New York, London, Manchester or Los Angeles, or any native English speaking market, be certain to hire a native from that country. One whose English is at mother tongue level and understands the marketing culture of your target market. If you do hire someone from Israel or India for work in English, make certain that they have lived and worked in your target market locale for at least ten years.
Second, you want to know what experience and for how many years they have worked with international marketing, conventional distribution channels, sales, marcom, viral marketing, production of brochures, advertising and public relations?
Third, what professional experience do they have in copy writing, journalism and research?
Fourth, what practical experience do they have in programming?
And last but not least, how long have they been working on the Internet?
An international Internet marketing professional must wear many hats to succeed. The Internet SEO must be an experienced international marketing or PR person - one who understands how to penetrate and motivate a market outside of Israel without the Internet. They need to understand the basics of international marketing, branding, distribution and sales channels in order for them to integrate the digital world with the classic print, broadcast media and sales markets.
