Moving towards Atlantis

My good friend, professional colleague and partner Randy Tischler and I are now in the process of establishing Internet PR and SEO - search engine optimization offices in New York. For Randy this will be his maiden voyage in setting up shop in the Big Apple. For me, been there done that. Yes, I had offices in the elegant and majestic World Trade Center for many years before seeking a greater adventure - living and working in Israel.

It's an interesting trek making one's way back to the vibrant city that never sleeps from the swaying palm trees and long, sandy beaches of Tel Aviv and the magic of Jerusalem.

Two very different personal and business cultures.
One very family orientated - one strictly commercial.

As there is almost a complete and professional void in offering Internet PR and SEO services in New York (no different from much of the rest of the world) its going to be a true challenge.

A challenge in terms of creating public awareness for the critical need for Internet marketing, SEO and Internet public relations for both PR and advertising agencies and the consumer market.

But also a greater personal challenge.
Working from two sides of the Earth.

To avoid jet lag I am now checking out real estate in Atlantis.
Surrounded by both myth and ocean, one should be able to reflect on the state of global marketing from there. And be just a bit closer to their cherished children.

The Blog - What Is It? Who Does It Serve?

Hello world, hello family and friends, Internet public relations professionals and members of the INTEL community,

As a journalist, international media, reputation and crisis communications consultant, as an Internet SEO marketing professional, as an Internet pioneer and finally as a proud dad who fights for a child's basic right for equal access to both parents, I am pleased to launch this blog.

The Internet began with the launch of Sputnik into outer space and today we find many of us in an ever expanding Cyber Space.

From Google News, YouTube and MySpace to Facebook, Friendster and Flickr, I often wonder how we mere mortals all handle this information overload? I will be making observations here regarding how important blogging is, who should use it and detail who reads it. I will also address the importance of search engine optimization - SEO - for both commercial and news content.

First and foremost, if we can use blogging as an aid to help humanity when she suffers from war, poverty and disease then we have truly achieved a noble goal in this small global village.

Lastly, who reads these blogs? Everyone!
From INTEL operations to your uncle's hair cutter, we have no privacy on the Net.
So if you have a secret - this is not the place to disclose it.
If you are seeking to leak information and or share information - then you have found your home.

Excuse me now as I play with this new application.
Just another info toy to add to my digital playground.
