Fathers 4 Justice To Sue City of Ra'anana, Abusing Mother for 10 Million

Fathers 4 Justice To Sue City of Ra'anana, Abusing Mother for 10 Million Message List

Tel Aviv, Israel ----- Israel News Agency ---- July 31..... Fathers 4 Justice Israel, which
advocates equal access to the children of divorced parents, has announced that
it will file a 10 million dollar lawsuit against the city of Ra'anana, Israel
and a divorced mother who has been accused of child abuse.

"Israel is one of most advanced democracies in the world, but when it comes to
children's rights it is a third world country," said Director of Fathers 4
Justice Israel Joel Leyden.

"Gender bias discrimination has been practiced in Israel since the modern state
was born. Fathers are allowed to carry M-16's but not allowed to carry their own
children."

Leyden states that a case of child physical and emotional abuse in Ra'anana,
Israel illustrates this fact.

A hard working, responsible divorced father has been the victim of criminal
harassment by private detectives ever since he requested the police to
investigate complaints by his child of physical child abuse by her mother. The
woman, who is originally from the UK and earns 2.5 million dollars a year, has
used a small balance of child support as an excuse to criminally harass her ex.
She states that she has "every right to go after past child support money" using
the free services of her family's law office in Netanya, Israel, private
investigators, the courts and the police.

Fathers 4 Justice Israel states that she does not have the right to traumatize
and emotionally abuse her 9-year-old child.

"This divorced mother could have settled each and every issue over a cup of
coffee but chose to increase tension and conflict by using the free legal
services of Feder Law in Netanya," said Leyden. "Feder Law then retained private
detectives who threatened the father and assaulted him in front of his daughter.
As his daughter was screaming "stop, you're killing my daddy" neighbors came out
and photographed the assault. Police are expected to send the case to the
Attorney General's Office in Israel."

Leyden states that the City of Ra'anana, Israel child welfare department and
Ra'anana Mayor Nachum Hofree have refused to take any action to protect the
child from the mother.

"We believe that the mother is narcissistic, emotionally disturbed and unable to
care for the best interests of the child," said Leyden. "What mother sends men
to beat up the father of her child?"

To make matters even worse, the father of the child has been harassed to the
point where the stress has taken a serious toll on his heart. During the period
of harassment, 3 months, the father developed diabetes, high cholesterol and is
now preparing to have heart surgery this week. According to Leyden, this mother
does not want money, as she earns over 2 million USD per year, but wants the
father dead.

"A witness told Fathers 4 Justice that the mother had told her that she wishes
the father would leave Israel, and if that were not to happen, wishes that he
would choke on something. That is a death threat and Ra'anana Child Welfare has
not responded. The only responsible parties are the police, who have been
dealing with this case and many others with complete and total understanding.
They don't behave like robots but they again are at the mercy of the justice
system."

Ra'anana Child Welfare told Fathers 4 Justice Israel that they cannot do
anything. That only the family court has the power. Meanwhile the family court
system in Israel relies totally on the advice and judgments of Child Welfare.

"The fathers suffer. But much worse the children suffer from trauma and PAS
(Parental Alienation Syndrome) while these cases are ignored and treated like ping
pong balls," says Leyden.

"The bottom line should ultimately land in the office of the Mayor who is
responsible for child welfare. Ra'anana Mayor Nachum Hofree only response to
these cases was to investigate and that was two years ago."
